Skin tumours

Due to a wide variety of influencing factors (exposure to UV radiation, comorbidities, medication, harmful influences, etc.) and often for inexplicable causes, tumours may form in any age group, in any skin type, on all skin layers and their appendages. Therapy is based on the histological diagnosis of the tumour, which differentiates between benign and malignant findings. Their interpretation and consequences require a very individual analysis. Frequent benign skin tumours are: Age-related warts (seborrhoeic exanthema), fibromas, birthmarks (naevi). Examples of malignant skin tumours are, on the other hand, basal-cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas and melanomas.

We can benefit from years of experience in the diagnostics and therapy of these skin tumours and we co-operate closely with dermatologists. The costs of clarification and therapy of skin tumours are in most cases covered by health insurance.

We recommend early clarification and personal consultation. Please arrange an appointment with us.
