Aesthetic surgery

Aesthetic surgery is concerned with preventing the ageing process (good aging) and improving the outward appearance. In addition to good habits (good nutrition, reduction of pollutants such as nicotine and alcohol, rest periods, sleep, physical activity, minimal UV exposure, sufficient cosmetics, checking the hormone status and many more), specific surgical procedures can improve well-being and contribute greatly to a high quality of life.
The most common surgical procedures are eyelid surgery (“tired-looking eyes”), modern facelift techniques (“chubby cheeks”, “turkey neck”), breast augmentation, breast lifting (after giving birth or following excessive weight loss), abdominal wall lifting, liposuction, ear correction and surgery in the genital region. As these procedures are not considered remedies for medical conditions despite the significant impact they can have on individuals, your health insurance will not cover the costs and you will have to pay for the procedure.
