Neural injuries

Neural injuries such as contusions and separations can occur everywhere in the body and need to be discussed individually with regard to therapy. The time of injury is an important factor determining the therapeutic schedule.

Fresh separations can be reattached under the microscope or magnifying spectacles; sometimes “bridging” (interposition) with other neural tissue will be necessary. Since this constitutes a necessary therapy following an accident, the cost is covered by health insurance.
