Neck wrinkle surgery (neck lift)

Sagging skin in the region of the neck (rhytidosis) is bothersome particularly in a profile view when looking at yourself in the mirror or in photos. The symptoms can be more or less pronounced (“turkey neck” phenomenon).
Surgery may include applying a lower facelift incision or direct skin removal (direct excision) in the affected region. Often it also includes muscle lifting (platysma) and fat resection in the median region.
